List Guidelines

Sending email to mailing list sometimes can cause a delay in the delivery of your email or the message formatting is lost. I hope these guidelines will help answer some of your questions and speed up delivery.

Post a Message

Post email to: CVCC@mailman.qth.net

Message Formatting

If you're losing format of a email sent to the list using HTML, MAPI, or Fancy Text its because they're not a accepted format on QSL.NET. Many email clients like Outlook and others provide additional text formatting options but each of these are stripped from email and most formatting is lost.

Attachments

Attachments are not allowed on the CVCC list.

Spam

Spam is always a problem but usually stopped at the server or bounced to the list administrator to approve or deny.

Cross Posting

Cross Posting is the act of posting the same message to multiple mailing lists, and individuals. The major problem with Cross Posting is security filters can recognize your email as spam and then put in queue for admin approval. Approval is done manually and can cause delays before the list admin can approve or deny the bounced email.

Bounced Email

Bounced Email is sent to the list administrator for approval. The email has been stopped usually due to one of the above guidelines.
